The 15th Egham Hythe Christmas Tree Festival
Only just over a week to go to the 2024 Christmas Tree festival - see above for the programme of events!
Please note that the installation of trees will be on Monday 2nd.
The concept is simple: local community groups, societies, stakeholders and businesses are invited to bring a Christmas tree to the festival and decorate it to a theme of their own choice. There is no charge for non-profit organisations. For businesses and commercial organisations we are asking for a £50 donation which goes to support this community initiative. Trees can be themed to promote a particular cause, humorous, thought provoking, or just simply artistic. As an Eco Church we’d love you also to consider the environmental aspects of your offering.
- Monday 2nd December - installation of trees and decorating the church (please note earlier date)
- Tuesday 3rd December Youth space event
- Wednesday 4th 9.30am Festival Opening Ceremony with the combined school choirs, followed by a Community networking and celebration event from 10-12
- Thursday 5th 9.30am Toddler Nativity
- Thursday 5th 1-3pm Community Tea Party
- Friday 6th 7pm Scout Group Panto
- Saturday 7th 10am and 12pm Christmas Story
- Sunday 8th 3pm Christingle
- Monday 9th December - removal of Community trees
